Autumn, part 2

I have been documenting in photographs the changes going outside.  The leaves are past peak now and falling rapidly.  It’s blustery and cold.  Today’s afternoon temperature was in the high 30’s (Fahrenheit); it should be near 50.  I like seeing the dead leaves everywhere which is unusual for someone who is neat and doesn’t like clutter.  I can tolerate anything that is ‘natural’.  Clutter in my home, on the other hand, is ‘unnatural’.

The white oak trees keep their leaves the longest.  If there aren’t any strong winds during the winter, the leaves can stay on the trees until the new ones come out in the spring.

I really like leaves.  I’m not sure why.  The first two photos were taken from atop the treehouse.
