My friend’s friend

Susie is my very good friend of eighteen years, and is an amazing person that I admire so much.  She has a friend who is a very busy man and literally on the move.  His name is Monsieur Jean Beliveau and he is walking around the world on a mission to “promote peace and non-violence to the profit of the children of the world”She first met Jean in 2003, in Mozambique during her time with the Peace Corps.   He recently traveled through South Korea and visited her in Geochang.  Susie is an ESL teacher and was recruited by ESL Communications in Seoul.

I am so thankful for Susie and her constant friendship.  I miss her Ecuadorian lentils and rice.

The photos are of Jean and Susie during his short stay in Geochang, September 4-6, 2008.

  1. I thought you were talking about Jean Beliveau the famous Montreal Canadiens hockey player!

This Jean sounds like he is on a serious trip. I hope he makes a difference.

  2. Tammy

I can see how that would be confusing. It’s strange they have the same name.
